So this is Christmas

Yep, this is a Christmas as I feel right now. I usually love the holidays, but this year I feel overburdened with all we have coming up. No one thing is unmanageable, but together it is taking its toll.

However, I am not a hand-wringer. I like to have solutions to problems. Even when it doesn't work, it makes me feel better to get moving in a direction. "I don't know where I am going, but I am making great time."

The house in WA is fixed and doing fine. I will send a 'larger than I would like but still smaller than the whole bill' check to the contractor. If you are in the WA area and need a general contractor Schultz Contracting in Centralia was FANTASTIC.

Should have 2 bids today on the house in GA mold issue. Also contacting the previous mold abatement company to pursue a claim against them (clearly, the mold was not abated...they should have known this).

Will be up late tonight to paint! It must get done. Fueled by coffee and other caffeinated items I will finish this Monkey Feathers Kitchen!!!! I want the floors and cabinets done when my parents leave on 14 Dec! The kitchen will complete the upstairs with the exception of the bathrooms. They will wait till spring when I am done with school.

Over the holidays, I will update pictures. I am sorry for all of the family and friends that follow us here. I know I always promise to get better, so I won't bother now.

The piles of paper on my desk now beckon as does the kitchen. Off to work!

Updates w/o pictures are just fine! Hang in there! You are more motivated than most of us! I will never ever do renovation work on a home. EVER!
