Strawberry season is in full bloom here in Southern GA. It is wonderful. Flip flops, the beach, fresh picked fruits, and all sorts of sunshine. I know that this is the reward for July, Aug, and Sept so I am soaking it all up.
I picked strawberries on Tuesday with William. I was the total hippie mom with a kid on my back feeding him berries to keep him happy while I worked.
With the berries I have made strawberry ice cream, strawberry shortcake, strawberry smoothies, and chocolate dipped strawberries...but mostly we have shoveled them into our mouths hand over fist.
Planning on picking with all the boys tomorrow.
